Metallic Face and Body Paints

Three brands describe the same shimmer finish three different ways here: TAG and Fusion both call it Pearl, Diamond FX calls it Metallic, and Fusion sells its version in 25g cakes rather than the usual 32g.

Picking a shade

• Gold and silver run out fastest: TAG Pearl Gold, Pearl Silver and Diamond FX Metallic Gold and Metallic Silver.
• Blues and greens such as Pearl Sky Blue, Pearl Teal and Metallic Baby Blue suit mermaid or fantasy designs where flat colour looks unfinished.
• Fusion's Fairy White and Purple Magic sit between a metallic and a pastel.

These go over or beside base colour cakes for shading and highlight work, they are not really designed to cover a whole cheek or forehead alone. Painting under black light instead? Neon UV cakes read completely differently under UV than any pearl or metallic shade will.
