Black & White Face Paints

White and black are the two colours every face painter goes through fastest, because they carry outlines, highlights, teeth, eyes and full skull or skeleton designs rather than just blocking in a background. That is why this is our biggest single colour collection: TAG Body Art, Diamond FX and Fusion Body Art each make a white and a black in sizes from 32g up to 90g, plus a Mehron Creamblend Stick in white and a Paradise 40g black for painters who prefer a stick or a different brand's finish.

Picking a size and a strength

• 32g or TAG's 50g size suits an occasional painter or a single design
• 90g cakes, made by TAG, Diamond FX and Fusion, are for a full day of bookings or a school fete queue
• Strong white and strong black (TAG's Strong White and Strong Black, Fusion's Strong Black and Prime White) give denser, more opaque coverage in fewer strokes, useful for full face designs rather than fine line work
• Fusion's Paraffin White and Pro Paraffin White are built to sit under other colours as a base rather than as the final coat
