Metallic Palettes

Two of the eight products on this metallic page are not actually metallic-specific: Fusion's Ultimate palette is a general 25 shade colour case, and the Kris Kringle kit is a Christmas themed set, both worth checking before you buy if you want shimmer colours only.

The genuinely metallic sets

• Diamond FX's Metallic sets, plus a case pairing Metallic with Neon UV colours in the one 12 well palette.
• TAG Metallic, 6 x 10g.
• Two Natalee Davies collaboration split cake palettes, Gold Collection and Nats Nature Palette FX.

Metallic finishes are shading and highlight tools, not a base coat, so keep a flat colour underneath for the parts of the design that don't need shimmer. The base colours cakes page has that flat colour in single cake form.
