Grimas Covercream Pure - Dark Blue 16ml

Grimas Covercream Pure is a high-pigment cream make-up in a twist-up stick, so it goes straight from the tube onto the skin with no palette and no sponge. Grimas describes Covercream Pure as a versatile and vegan make-up made from plant-based oils and waxes, for use as a base or as light camouflage.

Dark Blue is what makes a bruise look like a bruise. Fresh bruising reads blue-purple before it turns green and yellow, so a blue core under a red edge is more convincing than red alone. It is also the base for drowned, frozen and corpse looks, for blue-skinned characters in cosplay, and for cold shadow under a pale face where black would look too harsh. Sits well over Covercream Pure White and next to a bruise wheel.

How to use Grimas Covercream Pure

Twist up about five millimetres and draw straight onto clean, dry skin, then blend the edges with a fingertip, a brush or a damp sponge. For bruising, keep the colour concentrated in the centre and feather it out to nothing at the edges. Set with a translucent or fixing powder.
