Learn
Ever wanted to learn to face paint? Maybe for fun, maybe for a brand new career. We run small hands on workshops at our Wantirna South shop in Melbourne, and online classes you can join from anywhere in Australia.
What you will learn
- Linework
- Using splitcakes
- Sponge work and blending
- Hygiene and cleaning
- How to put those skills into a design
What is included
All products are supplied for the session. You also take home and keep:
- A rainbow splitcake
- A Heart Face Art brush collection
- Two Heart Face Art sponges
There are only eight seats available in each in person workshop, so they book out quickly.
Prefer to learn at your own pace? Our free step by step design guides and free inspiration sheets are yours to download and keep, and everything you need to practise with is in our beginner face paint kits.
Workshops and classes
In person in Melbourne, online anywhere in Australia, or on stage at your event.

Eight seats, every product supplied
Beginner workshops are deliberately small. Everyone gets hands on time, everyone gets feedback, and nobody sits at the back watching.
Nothing to buy beforehand
Every paint, brush and sponge you need is supplied for the session, so you can turn up empty handed and start painting.
You take a kit home
A rainbow splitcake, a Heart Face Art brush collection and two Heart Face Art sponges are yours to keep, so you can practise the same day.
Hygiene done properly
How to clean brushes and sponges between faces is part of the class. It is the part self taught painters most often get wrong.
Practise between classes
The colours are already chosen to work together, so you can start painting instead of guessing.
