Fancy Dress

This is the catch all for effects that go well beyond face paint: coloured contact lenses, fake blood and the prosthetic adjacent products that sit alongside a painted face rather than replacing one. Mehron's Special FX range covers three textures, Extra Flesh Modelling Putty and the Modelling Putty/Wax with Fixative for building up a scar or wound shape, and Rigid Collodion for pulling the skin into a scar line once the putty has set.

Blood, and the products that go with it

• Mehron Stage Blood in 15g and 30ml, Bright Arterial or Dark Venous, plus the thicker Coagulated Blood and Coagulated Blood Gel for a wound that looks dried rather than fresh.
• Splatter Fake Blood and Viola House Coagulated Fake Blood as own brand alternatives at 50g.
• ColourVUE Costume Lenses in 1 Day and 3 month wear, shades like Zombie White and Barbie Pink, plus the Max Optifresh lens cleaner and Mehron's Barrier Spray for sealing latex pieces before paint goes over the top.

A Latex Rubber Bald Cap and Clip On Elf Ears round out the prosthetics on offer. For lens shades built around one look, see our sclera and full lens range, and for blood and wound effects grouped together, our SFX fake blood collection.
