Diamond FX Face and Body Art
Diamond FX started in Holland in 2008 and built its reputation on one thing: pigment load. The Essential cakes are among the most opaque water activated paints you can buy, which is why so many painters keep Essential White and Essential Black in the kit even when the rest of the tray is another brand.
The Essential range
Essential is the core Diamond FX line, sold as 30g, 45g and 90g solid face and body cakes. Essential White is the workhorse: it goes down in one pass over dark paint, which matters for skulls, tiger stripes and any outline that has to read from three metres away. Because it is so concentrated, use a wetter brush than you would with a softer brand and build thin layers rather than scrubbing at the cake.
Numbered split cakes
Diamond FX numbers its split cakes, and painters swap those numbers like recipes. We stock them in 30g and 50g, from traditional rainbows through to the frozen and cotton candy blends children ask for by name. The complete set is under Diamond FX split cakes.
Palettes and first kits
If you are building a first kit, a Diamond FX palette is the efficient way in. The 12 x 6g Appetiser and the 12 x 10g Essential palettes give you a complete working colour set in one tray, and the split cake palettes do the same for one stroke work. Add a brush and sponge and you have everything you need for a first face.
Some UV and neon shades are treated differently under cosmetic regulations from country to country, so read the description on each product for how that colour is intended to be used. Everything marked in stock here is on the shelf in Wantirna South today.
